MTR Student Travel Scheme 2020/2021
Application for Electronic Student Identity Certificate
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, undergraduate students of the Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Hong Kong (HKU Business School) who have not yet reached 26 years of age* may apply for an Electronic Student Identity Certificate as verification of "Student Status" in support of their application for the MTR Student Travel Scheme 2020/2021.
Students should submit the completed application form for the MTR Student Travel Scheme 2020/2021 (downloadable from the MTR website) together with the Electronic Student Identity Certificate to any MTR Customer Service Centre (except Airport Express stations, Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau, Racecourse, Disneyland Resort, Sunny Bay, Wong Chuk Hang, Lei Tung and South Horizons stations).
Hard-copy application forms are also available at the Faculty Office on 4/F, K. K. Leung Building, The University of Hong Kong. In-person student identity verification (i.e. stamping the school stamp on application form) remains available at the Faculty Office during the office hours (i.e. Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 5:50pm; Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and University and Public Holidays), though not encouraged.
